The Department of soil and water resources at the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Kirkuk, in conjunction with the World Soil Day, organized its scientific seminar, under the title "healthy soil for Healthy Cities", in the presence and participation of teaching staff and students of the college.The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of providing reliable scientific data on soil health and fertility, and the possibility of linking these measurements to making sustainable decisions to combat environmental degradation, ensure food security, and enhance resilience to climate change, which transforms efforts from just public awareness to action plans based on technical figures and facts to ensure the sustainability of land resources for future generations.
