The Electronic Computing Center was established at the University Presidency in 2004. It is considered one of the active university centers in education, training, and technical development, providing digital services that support the academic and administrative missions of the University.

The Center includes specialized divisions that work in an integrated manner in the fields of networks and Internet, training and technical support, systems and software development, archiving, as well as supervising IT projects and continuously improving the University’s official website.

1 Vision
To provide advanced ICT requirements that deliver distinguished technical and information services, ensure smooth information flow across the University, and support decision-making by upgrading the infrastructure (hardware, software, and human resources) toward comprehensive e-governance.
2 Mission
To elevate the University’s digital capabilities and position the Electronic Computing Center as a leading hub for innovative IT services that meet the aspirations of the University and society on local and regional levels.
3 Objectives
  1. Keep pace with new IT developments and continuously enhance scientific and administrative systems.
  2. Support academic and administrative activities and contribute to community service and human development.
  3. Strengthen the University of Kirkuk’s position among higher education institutions locally, regionally, and internationally.
