The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology organized a specialized seminar entitled: (Achieving University Sustainability: Energy and environmental management via ISO 50001 and 14001).The seminar presented by M.M. Susan Mohammed Khudair, to enhance institutional awareness of the role of international standards in transforming universities into sustainable and environmentally friendly environments, during which she discussed environmental management (ISO 14001) and ways to reduce the environmental impact of university activities, and energy management (ISO 50001) by applying strategies to rationalize consumption and raise energy efficiency.
