The Rehabilitation, Employment & Follow-up Unit seeks to prepare University of Kirkuk students and graduates to enter the labor market in both public and private sectors through specialized training programs and by connecting them with suitable job opportunities aligned with their fields.
The unit trains students and graduates on labor market skills, builds bridges with institutions, companies and related ministries, and continuously follows up with graduates wherever they are by updating their data.

To support and empower students and graduates by preparing them and helping them access employment opportunities
in both public and private sectors.

Mission
The unit follows up with University of Kirkuk students and graduates by training them on labor market skills,
assisting them in finding suitable jobs, maintaining communication wherever they are, and helping employers reach
the right candidates.

Main Goals
- Prepare students and graduates and introduce essential employability skills.
- Help graduates obtain job opportunities that match their specializations.
- Build a comprehensive information base for graduates.
- Build a database for companies and institutions interested in hiring graduates.
- Provide guidance on major selection for new students and job readiness for graduates.
- Strengthen the graduate–university relationship through ongoing communication.
- Coordinate with institutions, companies and ministries locally, regionally and internationally to absorb more graduates.
