We welcome our students, parents, and visitors from inside and outside the University of Kirkuk. We aim to provide clear information and high-quality administrative and academic services aligned with ministerial regulations, ensuring an organized study pathway from the moment of admission until obtaining the university degree.

The Admission & Registration Division is responsible for organizing, managing, and implementing policies related to the student’s academic pathway: admission, registration, enrollment records, academic status follow-up, preparing the academic calendar, and issuing official graduation orders and degrees.

1 Managing the Academic Journey from Admission to Graduation
Through the Admission & Registration Division, the department organizes student admission, registration, and enrollment in colleges and departments, monitors academic results and status according to applicable regulations, ensuring a smooth study pathway and fulfillment of graduation requirements.
2 Academic Calendar, Timetables, and Examinations
The department prepares the academic calendar, tracks students’ academic records, and coordinates with colleges to prepare and publish timetables and exam schedules, ensuring well-organized examination processes.
3 Department Goals
The Registration & Student Affairs Department aims to:

  • Strengthen administrative and organizational foundations in line with regulations.
  • Protect students’ rights as guaranteed by applicable laws and instructions.
  • Work as one team with registration units across all colleges.
  • Establish a comprehensive database for all University graduates.
  • Provide high-quality student service aligned with digital transformation.
  • Reduce lengthy bureaucracy that disrupts administrative work and education progress.
4 Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
The department carries out a wide range of tasks with students and colleges, including:
  1. Announcing annual central admission results and distributing them to University colleges.
  2. Following up registration units across all colleges to ensure proper completion of tasks.
  3. Providing opinions on requests related to the student academic record from admission to graduation.
  4. Issuing official admission orders for each academic year and each college separately.
  5. Issuing official graduation orders for each academic year and each college separately.
  6. Verifying the authenticity of documents issued by the University for relevant entities.
  7. Certifying graduates’ documents through the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  8. Issuing graduation transcripts and certificates in Arabic and English.
  9. Legal handling of forged high school and bachelor’s degree documents.
  10. Monitoring exam committees to ensure correct preparation of master sheets in departments.
  11. Preparing statistics on final examinations for first and second rounds.
  12. Extracting success rates for each department by stages across all colleges.
5 Digital Transformation and Student Information System
The department works to manage and update the Student Information System in alignment with ministerial instructions, accelerating processes, improving data accuracy, and generating statistical reports to support decision-makers at University and ministry levels.
