The Legal Affairs Department at the University of Kirkuk Presidency is one of the most vital departments due to the nature of its responsibilities: providing legal consultations to University formations, forming investigative and auditing committees, following up their work, issuing University orders to implement recommendations, and representing the University before state institutions and the judiciary.
The department is linked to the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, given the need for independence and neutrality in legal opinions. It strives to enhance leadership and excellence in legal work by consolidating legal values, objectives, rights, and duties among all University members.
