Training Programs and Workshops for Skills Development and Community Service

The Continuing Education Center at the University of Kirkuk was established by University Order No. (7/27/10576) on 30/10/2016, following the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Research and Development by its letter No. 6865 on 16/10/2016. This reflects the university’s role in serving society and its commitment to the human being as a key instrument of development.

The Center provides specialized training courses, workshops, seminars, and conferences through divisions and units working in various administrative, scientific, technical, linguistic, and community-related fields. It also designs continuing education programs that meet the needs of institutions, individuals, and different sectors of society for professional and cognitive growth through skill development, learning new knowledge, and exploring potentials.

Main Objectives of the Continuing Education Center

1 Openness to Society and Utilization of Scientific and Cultural Capacities
To engage with the local and regional community and utilize the scientific and cultural capacities available at the university in order to enrich public awareness and raise the intellectual and cultural level of community members through diverse continuing education programs.
2 Transferring Modern Knowledge and Linking it to Daily Work Experience
To deliver newly developed knowledge, information, and the outcomes of applied research and studies to professionals in various fields, and connect them with daily work experience to ensure more efficient and professional outputs.
3 Supporting the Professional Growth of Employees in State Sectors
To provide employees in various government sectors with opportunities for learning, advancement, and professional growth through courses and workshops specifically designed to meet the needs of institutions and departments.
