Scientific Integrity & E-Plagiarism Unit

The E-Plagiarism Committee at the Presidency of the University of Kirkuk examines researchers’ papers and postgraduate theses/dissertations using the global Turnitin system, as well as checking AI-generated content percentage. Submissions are received through the official email address.
The Scientific Integrity Committee is responsible for reviewing and issuing Scientific Integrity Forms for researchers at the University of Kirkuk and other universities, for both local and international publications. This form is one of the key requirements for processing academic promotion files.
The committee is chaired by the President of the University of Kirkuk, with the Vice President for Scientific Affairs as a member, in addition to four members selected based on scientific competence and experience in auditing local and international journals.

Please follow the file formats and instructions for each request type (papers, theses, dissertations).
- Original thesis/dissertation copy stamped by the host university and the embassy.
- CD/USB containing the thesis/dissertation in Word format.
- Submission request letter from the Scholarships Department at the Presidency.
- Legal undertaking from the Legal Affairs Department.
- Degree equivalency application sheet (downloaded from the student’s email).
- Copy of the National ID.
- Payment receipt for plagiarism check fees from the Finance Department.
- Scientific Integrity Form (Researchers).
