The president of the University of Kirkuk, professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, opened the second annual exhibition of dates and jujube, organized by the Faculty of medicinal and industrial plants, in the presence of the Scientific Assistant and dean of the faculty. The president of the University said, " the exhibition comes within the framework of supporting local products and trying to shed light on them to develop and establish bridges of communication between farmers, local traders and investment companies specialized in marketing dates, grapes and local products. The festival, which witnessed a wide participation of farmers and competent authorities, included dozens of different types of dates and grapes models and an introductory profile about each type.
