Technology Incubator & Ecosystem Unit
University of Kirkuk
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research — Research & Development Directorate — launched a national network of university business incubators across public universities. In the first phase, one incubator was established in each public university to build future generations capable of creating sustainable solutions that support the national economy and strengthen research and knowledge in Iraq.
The technology incubator supports entrepreneurial ideas, projects, research outputs and patents, enhancing innovation and spreading the culture of entrepreneurship and freelancing within the university and the wider community.
The incubator network provides a supportive ecosystem through activities, events, and scientific and practical content for incubator members and all stakeholders interested in building incubation capacity in Iraq.
