Sustainability Gate

Sustainability is an environmental term that describes how ecosystems remain diverse and productive over time. Sustainability for humans is the ability to preserve the quality of life for the long term, which in turn depends on the conservation of the natural world resources and the responsibility of using such natural resources. The term sustainability has become so widespread and can be applied to almost every aspect of life on the Earth, from the local to the global and over different time periods. Wetlands and healthy forests are examples of sustainable Biosystems. Subtle biochemical cycles redistribute water, oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon in the world's living and nonliving systems, and have ensured lasting life for millions of years. But as the number of people, the inhabitants of this earth, increased, the natural ecosystems declined and the change in the balance of natural cycles had a negative impact on both humans and other living systems.
