The specialized volleyball refereeing course has kicked off at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, presented by international referee and lecturer Jassim Safi Khairallah, in cooperation with the Volleyball Sub-Federation headed by Gailan Sheikh Sattar. The course will continue for three days.

The course is being held from Sunday, April 19, 2026, to Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the headquarters of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.

The organizers clarified that participants will receive a certificate of participation, and upon successfully passing the course requirements, they will be awarded a "Third-Degree Federation Referee" badge.

The course supervisors emphasized that participation is completely free and restricted to college students only, in a move aimed at qualifying young and professional refereeing cadres from within the academic institution to supply the sports arena.
