📚 About the Theoretical Sciences Branch
The Theoretical Sciences Branch in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / Kirkuk University was established according to Ministerial Order TM 3/3/4297 dated 9/25/2016, and University Order No. 7/27/9625 on 10/4/2016.
The branch supervises and follows up on the theoretical subjects taught in the college across all four academic stages. It is responsible for preparing the necessary supplies and requirements to effectively deliver scientific material to the students. The primary goal of the Theoretical Sciences Branch is to provide students with all theoretical sports sciences and auxiliary subjects that aid their academic and athletic achievement, complementing the Individual and Team Sports branches. It ultimately aims to integrate graduates into schools and sports institutions in the governorate to meet the community's needs in the field of physical education.

🎯 Duties and Responsibilities of the Branch
- Preparing classrooms and outfitting them with necessary supplies (seats, whiteboards, markers, lighting, air conditioning, etc.), as well as ensuring their continuous cleanliness.
- Preparing laboratories and their specialized equipment (Computer Lab, Movement Analysis/Biomechanics Lab, Sports Anatomy and Physiology Lab, and Therapeutics and Sports Injury Rehabilitation Lab).
- Providing textbooks and supervising their distribution to students across all academic stages.
- Assigning faculty members to subjects based on their specific specialization and scientific competence, while following up on the teaching process and faculty administrative matters, such as official attendance.
- Supervising midterm and final examinations in coordination with the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs.
