Student Activities Division
🎯 Vision and Mission
The Student Activities Division represents a vital link in the organizational structure of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, operating under the direct supervision and affiliation of the respected Dean of the College. The division works to support students' talents across various sports, artistic, cultural, and scouting activities by organizing tournaments, leagues, artistic and literary exhibitions, as well as voluntary and community service campaigns.
🏅 Strategic Objectives:
The Student Activities Division strives to organize activities, nurture talents, and provide all necessary equipment to develop the sports and cultural landscape within the college in particular and the university in general. This contributes to supplying Kirkuk Governorate with creative and promising youth energy to support Iraqi sports clubs and national teams through:
Organizing sports, artistic, literary, and scientific student activities.
Supporting and developing diverse student talents and creativity within the college.
Providing equipment and supplies to support all student activities.
Developing the athletic, scientific, and cultural environment at the college and university.
Supplying institutions and sports clubs with promising youth capabilities and talents.
Cooperating with institutions and federations to conduct refereeing and coaching courses.
🧩 Units Affiliated with the Student Activities Division:
Sports Activities Unit
Responsible for organizing and managing all internal and external tournaments and leagues for individual and team sports, forming the core foundation for training and preparing college and university varsity teams for national competitions.
Scouting Activities Unit
Dedicated to instilling the principles of the scouting movement, organizing camps and outdoor field trips, and training students in leadership skills, self-reliance, nature survival, and unified teamwork spirit.
Fine Arts Activities Unit
Nurtures artistic talents and abilities among students and staff in drawing, Arabic calligraphy, ornamentation, music, and theater, organizing annual exhibitions and theatrical performances for the college.
Cultural Activities Unit
Aims to develop students' cultural and intellectual awareness by organizing poetry festivals, literary competitions, cultural seminars, and scientific exhibitions that highlight creative talents in non-athletic fields.
Voluntary Work Unit
Seeks to foster social solidarity and good citizenship through voluntary campaigns such as blood donations, campus tree planting and cleaning, and humanitarian community services benefiting the governorate.
