The College of Basic Education at the University of Kirkuk, in collaboration with the provincial Traffic Directorate, organized an extensive awareness-raising seminar titled "Traffic Safety: A Shared Responsibility for Saving Lives." This initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance traffic awareness and foster a culture of adherence to traffic regulations within both the academic and local communities.
The seminar covered several key topics, with speakers highlighting various preventive and advisory measures. They explored strategies to reduce traffic accidents and discussed ways to promote a culture of prevention—raising awareness about the dangers of road accidents and the devastating human, social, and economic losses they cause.
