University of Kirkuk organizes an awareness campaign and scientific seminars in observance of "Pink October"

University of Kirkuk has launched an extensive awareness initiative, organizing a series of scientific seminars and field-based educational campaigns across its campus. This effort coincides with "Pink October"—the global awareness month dedicated to the importance of early detection of breast cancer.The seminars featured academic lectures and specialized research presentations that highlighted methods for prevention, the significance of regular screenings, and how early detection positively impacts recovery rates. Additionally, informational brochures and leaflets were distributed throughout the university’s various facilities. These activities aim to foster health awareness and provide psychological support, ensuring a well-informed university environment that actively contributes to serving the community and promoting a culture of preventive medicine.
