A seminar at the University of Kirkuk on the change in the dinar exchange rate and its impact on the standard of living of households

The College of Arts organized a scholarly seminar titled "The Impact of Iraqi Dinar Exchange Rate Fluctuations on Household Living Standards: A Socio-Economic Perspective."The seminar examined how changes in the Iraqi Dinar’s exchange rate affect household purchasing power and living standards, as well as the broader economic and social repercussions for citizens. It also explored the factors that reinforce the position of the US Dollar within the global economy.The seminar aimed to enhance economic and social awareness, foster an understanding of the challenges facing Iraqi families amidst current economic shifts, and shed light on the reasons behind regional disparities in poverty levels across Iraq’s governorates.
