The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, in cooperation with the voluntary work Division at the university presidency, organized an awareness workshop entitled: “sustainability and Environmental Responsibility according to the requirements of ISO 14001”, the workshop, presented by Dr. Salwa Jarjis Salman, aimed to highlight the importance of environmental sustainability, raise awareness among students and university employees, and introduce the mechanisms of applying the ISO 14001 standard in educational institutions, in order to contribute to building a safe and sustainable university environment, reviewing the most prominent concepts and practices related to environmental responsibility, as well as global trends towards the adoption of management systems ecology in higher educational institutions.
