The Internal Audit and Control Directorate at Kirkuk University organized a workshop on the role of administrative oversight in combating administrative and financial corruption, with the participation of department and unit directors from various colleges.
The Director of Internal Audit and Control, Ammar Fawzi Kamal, stated that the workshop included an overview of administrative and financial oversight, its objectives and characteristics, and its role in combating corruption. It also highlighted the importance of oversight in ensuring the administration's adherence to the principle of legality and compliance with regulations. Participants discussed mechanisms and clarified certain sections of the guidance manual for internal audit departments issued by the Federal Board of Supreme Audit.
