The master's thesis of the student Shadia Nuri Ahmed Aziz, entitled "Abdul Sattar Tahir Sharif (1933-2008) and his administrative and cultural role in Iraq"was discussed at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Kirkuk. The message presented by student Shadia Nuri Ahmed aimed to show the emergence of a large number of prominent Kurdish figures who directly influenced the course of events in the history of Iraq, and to highlight Abdul Sattar Tahir Sharif as one of these prominent figures in the last four decades of the twentieth century.
