For the first time since its establishment, the College of Education for Girls at Kirkuk University discusses its first master's thesis.

The College of Education for Women at Kirkuk University witnessed the discussion of its first master's thesis since its establishment. Titled "Role of Lactobacillus Plantarum Inducing Apoptosis Via Caspase Pathway in Breast Cancer Cell Lines," the thesis was supervised by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Ahmed.The thesis, presented by student Janur Shihab Hakim, aimed to determine the optimal dosage and form (whether live cells, killed cells, or secretions) of Lactobacillus plantarum bacteria that achieves the highest efficacy in inhibiting breast cancer and the highest safety for normal cells. This would present it as a strong candidate for a promising natural treatment or adjuvant therapy to enhance the effectiveness of traditional chemotherapy treatments and reduce their side effects in the future.
