A master's thesis in the College of Education for Humanities discussed the concept of reflection in pre-Islamic poetry.
The thesis, submitted by student Amani Mahmoud Abdul Rahman, aimed to highlight reflection as a human condition centered, according to an analysis of pre-Islamic poetry, on a set of factors: death, time, and war. Reflection was categorized, based on the poetic texts, into direct and indirect reflection.
