The faculties of the University of Kirkuk, in cooperation with the division of voluntary work, organized voluntary work campaigns with the participation of its academic and administrative cadres, and its students. The campaigns carried out in conjunction with the events of the International Volunteer Day included afforestation, cleaning, painting sidewalks and painting paintings, maintaining and expanding the green spaces at the University in a way that contributes to improving the aesthetic environment, as well as providing therapeutic services for the elderly. It should be noted that the University of Kirkuk is working to consolidate and spread the culture of volunteering within educational institutions, to be in accordance with an approach that stimulates community adoption, organization and empowerment.
