The president of the University of Kirkuk, professor Dr. Omran Jamal Hassan, honored the University's winning teams in various tournaments for Iraqi universities, organized by the Student Activities Department/ scientific supervision and evaluation apparatus. Describing these achievements, the president of the University said : We bless our student-athletes and this achievement at the level of Iraqi universities, which represents pride and brilliance for university sports and culture, and for the University of Kirkuk, which aims to increase the University's interaction with society with its youth, educational and sports institutions. The honor included both the University team that was crowned with the cup of the championship of Iraqi universities in badminton (students), and the team that won the second place ( students) in the activities of the Scout camp for Guides.
