Kirkuk University strengthens its presence in the Times global rankings for the second consecutive year.

For the second consecutive time, Kirkuk University has maintained a competitive position in the *Times Higher Education World University Rankings* (2027 edition). This ranking evaluated 2,297 universities across 118 countries and regions, compared to 2,191 universities from 115 countries and regions in the previous edition.Kirkuk University continues to confidently implement plans to enter other global rankings, thereby strengthening its standing among Arab and international universities.Universities competed in the *Times* ranking based on key criteria comprising eighteen indicators that measure performance across five pillars: Teaching (learning environment) at 29.5%, Research Environment at 29%, Research Quality at 30%, International Outlook at 7.5%, and Industry Income at 4%.
