The Department of quality assurance and university performance at the University of Kirkuk organized a scientific seminar under the title "achieving the goals and advancement of the University in international rankings", with the participation of deans of colleges. The seminar aimed to introduce the international rankings entered by the University of Kirkuk and the ranks in which it applied and the mechanisms of upgrading the university to achieve advanced ranks and reach global competitiveness and enable it to enter the QS World Ranking, as well as provide a detailed explanation of each type of these classifications, common and differences between them. On the sidelines of the seminar, the president of the University of Kirkuk, professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, honored the committee overseeing the University's entry into the international Times ranking, for the first time, among ٢٥ an Iraqi university, and مؤسسة an institution from ١١٥ a country around the world.
