A Faculty Member from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Serves as a Committee Member for a Doctoral Dissertation Defense at Diyala University

The Coordinator of the Individual Games Department and faculty member at the college, Assistant Professor Dr. Saadallah Saeed Majeed, participated as a member of the defense committee for a Doctoral dissertation at Diyala University. The dissertation, titled "The Effect of Beyer's Strategy According to 'Scanning vs. Focusing' Styles on Critical Thinking and Learning Some Basic Handball Skills for Students," was presented by the candidate Mohammed Sinan Abbas.

The study database aimed to identify the effect of Beyer's strategy according to scanning and focusing styles on developing critical thinking and learning basic handball skills among students, as well as uncovering which of the two styles is more effective in achieving this objective.

The study reached a set of conclusions, most notably: Beyer's strategy had a highly effective impact on critical thinking and learning basic handball skills (passing and receiving, dribbling, and shooting), in addition to its effective role in boosting students' self-confidence by providing them with opportunities to generate ideas in handball.
