Dr. Adnan Shakour Ahmed, a faculty member at the College of Agriculture, published a scientific paper in the Indian Journal of Animal Production and Management, which is indexed in Scopus.
The professor explained that the published research aims to study the concentrations of certain heavy metals in local goose meat from several areas in Kirkuk Governorate. The goal is to assess the level of contamination by these elements, determine the safety of the meat for human consumption, and provide scientific data that can be used to monitor food quality and protect public health. Furthermore, the research will support studies related to the safety of animal products in Iraq.
