The College of Law and Political Science at the University of Kirkuk organized a specialized scientific seminar, shedding light on mechanisms for protecting the digital environment and regulating online content from both legal and Sharia perspectives.
The seminar addressed the trend of digital platforms transforming into commercial systems that rely on algorithms to generate financial profit and rapid fame—often at the expense of core values and principles. It further examined the serious repercussions of this phenomenon, including the trivialization of societal thought, the erosion of the moral framework among youth, and the promotion of false role models.
