The College of Dentistry at Kirkuk University organized a workshop entitled "The Role of the Parasite Causing Toxoplasmosis in Periodontal Diseases," attended by students of the college. The workshop addressed the definition of the parasite causing toxoplasmosis and its mechanism of action on oral and gum health, highlighting the possible relationship between infection with this parasite and the development of some periodontal diseases and oral inflammations.
