The Faculty of medical and industrial plants at the University of Kirkuk, in cooperation with the Directorate of Kirkuk agriculture, the Department of Veterinary, the Directorate of Water Resources, and the Directorate of livestock, organized a workshop entitled "The role of medicinal plants in improving feed blocks", with the participation of the dean, associates and students of the College, the workshop focused on the theoretical and applied aspects of the use of medicinal plants in the manufacture of feed blocks, the importance of introducing plant extracts in animal nutrition to improve the efficiency of feed blocks, raise the nutritional value and reduce dependence on chemical additives, as well as supporting local production of feed through scientific means innovative and sustainable.
