The city of brotherhood and Peace witnessed a solemn celebration on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the founding of the University of Kirkuk, one of the most prominent scientific edifices in Iraq, the ceremony was held at the university headquarters with the participation of the University President, Professor Dr. Omran Jamal Hassan, deans of faculties and heads of departments, as well as a group of academics, researchers and university students.
During his speech, the president of the University stressed that the University of Kirkuk represents a leading model in specialized education and scientific research, pointing out that its role has exceeded the limits of local education to reach scientific and research partnerships at the international level, adding that we are all for the future of our generations scientifically, intellectually and culturally،
Hassan pointed out that we recall the first great day of the university professors who established this scientific edifice in the province of Kirkuk, which has remained as a beacon of Science and knowledge and a source to supply the labor market with young energies armed with experience and knowledge.
