The University of Kirkuk witnessed, with the first day of the new year 2026, the registration of 19 new researches and 232 scientific citations in the scopes repository, in a clear indication of the sobriety of the scientific content of Iraqi research and journals.The president of the University, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, stressed, "the University of Kirkuk is moving steadily towards enhancing the institutional performance and strategic vision of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, consolidating its presence in the global scientific publishing space and recording significant progress in global rankings.He added that this great achievement represents an important step towards universality, praising the efforts of researchers in all faculties of the University, and their role in strengthening the position of the University of Kirkuk among the sober international rankings.
