The College of Pharmacy is organizing a seminar on the use of artificial intelligence in drug repurposing.

The College of Pharmacy at Kirkuk University organized a seminar on "Methodology for Identifying Non-Antibiotic Drugs and Repurposing Them as Antibiotics Using Artificial Intelligence," with the participation of the Dean, faculty members, and students.

The seminar included several sessions in which Dr. Amid Mohsen Hassan, along with a number of students, explained the mechanism for using artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques in the field of drug repurposing. The seminar also highlighted the concept of virtual screening and its role in accelerating scientific research processes and reducing the time and cost of discovering new drugs.
