The College of Arts at Kirkuk University held a scientific seminar entitled "From Idea to Funding: Supporting Women in Entrepreneurship." The seminar emphasized that supporting women in this field is a fundamental pillar of economic empowerment and sustainable development. Government initiatives contribute to increasing the percentage of women-owned businesses by facilitating access to affordable loans, training, and digital transformation, leading to a significant rise in their economic participation. The seminar aimed to highlight the need to focus on launching initiatives and loans specifically for women to establish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and to implement awareness and training programs in financial management, planning, and technology. This will enhance the quality of women's businesses. The seminar also emphasized the importance of providing digital platforms for women's training, supporting remote work, and utilizing social media for marketing.
