The Internal Audit and Control Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at Kirkuk University, organized a workshop on developing oversight mechanisms, with the participation of internal audit and control officers from various colleges. The Director of the Audit Department, Mr. Ammar Fawzi Kamal, stated that the workshop, held in accordance with directives from the Ministry of Higher Education, addressed the mechanism for responding to reports from the Federal Board of Supreme Audit, methods for addressing observations contained in previous reports, and ways to enhance the role and importance of internal auditing in evaluating performance and protecting public funds through the application of the internal control manual in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and instructions.
