A scientific seminar on the role of Kurdish women in Iraqi society's culture

The College of Education for Humanities at Kirkuk University organized a scientific seminar entitled "The Role of Kurdish Women in Iraqi Culture," with the participation of the dean, faculty members, and students.

The seminar's themes included an analytical reading of the representations of Kurdish women in folk literature and their position within the tribal and social structures, as well as their contributions to transmitting cultural heritage and strengthening language and identity. Researchers also discussed the challenges women have faced in different historical contexts and mechanisms for their empowerment in light of contemporary changes.
