A Faculty Member from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Participates in a PhD Dissertation Defense at the University of Mosul

Upon a kind invitation from the Deanship of the College of Basic Education / Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul, a faculty member from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Shaheen Ramzi Rafiq, participated on Thursday, May 14, 2026, as a member of the defense committee for the PhD dissertation of the student (Mohammed Abdul-Mueen), titled: "Occupational Stress and Decision-Making According to the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) Technology Among Football Referees in the Iraq Stars League."

The defense witnessed a distinguished academic presence, during which the importance of the study in developing the psychological and refereeing aspects of football referees was highlighted.

At the conclusion of his participation, the faculty member expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Deanship of the College at the University of Mosul for their warm reception and generous hospitality, while also congratulating the supervisor and the student on this scientific achievement, wishing them continued success and prosperity.
