College of Physical Education & Sports Sciences at Kirkuk University Signs a Joint Memorandum of Cooperation with the Iraqi Volleyball Federation – Kirkuk Branch
Under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Kirkuk University, the college signed a joint memorandum of cooperation with the Iraqi Volleyball Federation – Kirkuk Branch, in the context of strengthening academic and sports cooperation between the two institutions.
The college was represented in signing the agreement by its Dean, Professor Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Saber, while the Iraqi Volleyball Federation – Kirkuk Branch was represented by its branch president, Gailan Sheikh Sattar, in the presence of several officials and specialists in the sports field.
The Dean of the College explained that this memorandum aims to expand the horizons of cooperation and partnership in areas of mutual interest, especially in the scientific and applied aspects related to sports. He noted that the agreement includes activating the participation of faculty members in scientific and research activities, organizing training courses and workshops, as well as exchanging expertise between both parties.
He added that this step represents an important starting point towards developing sports and academic work, which will contribute to elevating the students' level and supporting the sports movement in Kirkuk Governorate.
