A Faculty Member from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Wins the Iraqi Football League Title as Head Coach of Ghaz Al-Shamal U14 Team
Ghaz Al-Shamal Sports Club has clinched the Iraqi U14 Football League championship title under the leadership of its head coach, Dr. Mohammed Omar Mohammed, a faculty member at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
The coach stated that winning this title was the result of continuous support from the club's management, the contributions of the coaching staff, and the immense efforts of the players. The team ultimately secured the championship after playing 18 matches across both the group stage and knockout rounds, culminating in a 2-1 victory against Naft Al-Basra in the final match.
This historic victory marks the first time an Iraqi League title across any age category has been brought home to Kirkuk Governorate.
