A doctoral thesis at the College of Law and Sciences discussed the constitutional boundaries of the relationship between the legislative and judicial authorities in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq for the year 2005, for the student Aras Jaafar Saeed and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Fawzi Hussein Salman. , as well as dealing with the limits of interference and cooperation between the legislative and judicial authorities in terms of the legislative authority regulating the work of the courts and appointing the heads of the judiciary. It defines the relationship of the judicial authority with the legislative authority, so that these two authorities have no relation to each other except for narrow and limited competencies that represent the degree of balance between the two powers, and the authority of the legislative authority to declare a general amnesty and ratify the laws regulating the work of the judiciary and the financial budget for it that is established by the Judicial Council, and in return that the constitutional judiciary Oversight of the constitutionality of laws and Deciding on the validity of the membership of Parliament.
