A master’s thesis in the College of Education for Human Sciences discussed the applications of major jurisprudential rules and their branches from the book “Nahyat al-Muttalib fi Derayah al-Madhab” by Imam al-Juwayni (d. 478 AH) from al-Jarrah to the end of the Book of Blood Money, by student Maral Sabah Amin Mukhtar, under the supervision of Dr. Abd al-Sattar Shahada Hussain. The study showed the applications of the rules The major jurisprudence and its branches from the book Nihayat al-Muttalib in the knowledge of the doctrine of Imam al-Juwayni, linking it to the contemporary reality, and explaining the impact of the major jurisprudential rules and their branches in the formation of the jurisprudence and legal faculty, as well as knowing how the scholar of jurisprudence derives the legal rulings from their original resources.
