The Faculty of Law and Political Science discussed the master’s thesis tagged with arbitration in air transport contract disputes for goods / a comparative study by the student: Omar Suleiman Azzawi and the supervision of a. M. Dr.. Rayan Hashem Hamdoun.The study aimed at clarifying commercial arbitration in air transport disputes of goods and looking at disputes about air transport of goods by specialized bodies and arbitrators, considering that this provides stability, security, and preservation of the secrets of transactions that take place from information and data in transactions between the sending merchant and the carrier. The researcher recommended The Iraqi legislator requires the availability of a stable arbitration body whose mission is to resolve all matters related to air trade disputes, as well as disputes related to the communications and air sectors, especially after the great leap of technology that the world experienced at the beginning of this century, which entailed disputes related to the aviation sector, and that there should be one model law A unified arbitration in disputes resulting from air matters governs and regulates arbitration processes and that countries rely on it in legislating and drafting their laws with regard to arbitration.
