A master's thesis at the University of Kirkuk discusses the comparative effect and reproductive efficiency of Awassi ewes dosed with green tea extract and vitamins A and E.

A master's thesis was discussed at the College of Agriculture on the comparative effect and reproductive efficiency of local Awassi ewes dosed with aqueous extract of green tea and a mixture of vitamins A and E during mid- and late pregnancy and the growth indicators in newborn lambs.
The study, presented by the student Ramyar Saman Najm al-Din, aimed to determine the effectiveness of green tea and vitamins A and E through their physiological and reproductive effects on Awassi ewes, by observing physiological changes occurring in their systems during mid- and late pregnancy, in addition to monitoring growth indicators in newborn lambs.
The study concluded that dosing ewes with green tea extract, especially at a concentration of 200 mg/kg, along with a mixture of vitamins A and E, led to positive improvements in the studied traits.
