College of Agriculture Departments
The College of Agriculture comprises six specialized departments covering various aspects of agricultural sciences and natural resources, offering distinguished educational and research programs that contribute to the development of the agricultural sector and achieving sustainable development.
Animal Production Department
The department was established in 2005. Studies in the Animal Production Department include all sciences related to poultry, sheep, cattle, buffalo, fish, and others, and encourages students to use modern methods.

The department was established in 2005. The importance of the department lies in preparing efficient specialized agricultural engineering cadres in the field of horticulture and landscape engineering (ornamental plants, fruits, vegetables, plant tissue culture).

The Department of Soil Sciences was established in 2010. The establishment process aimed to supply the labor market with specialists in studying soil layers that are utilized by various types of plants, from herbaceous to forest trees.

The Field Crops Department was established in 2012. The department studies all sciences related to the cultivation, maintenance, breeding, and improvement of plants classified as field crops. The department is equipped with advanced laboratories, as well as dedicated fields within the agricultural research and experiments station for department students.

The Forestry Sciences Department was established in the academic year (2013-2014). It specializes in studying sciences related to forests, starting from planting trees and shrubs, then maintenance and investment of their various products, along with how to protect them from external impacts.

The department was established in 2024 in our college. The department seeks to qualify graduates with scientific and technical competence capable of keeping pace with developments in agricultural technology and to prepare bachelor's degree graduates who are proficient in agricultural machinery technology.
