A Master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, examined “The Effect of Adding Caper Fruit and Wild Chicory Powders and Their Mixture on Egg Production and Quality and Selected Blood Biochemical Traits in Laying Hens.”

The thesis, submitted by Mohammed Ammar Saeb, aimed to evaluate the effects of adding caper fruit powder, wild chicory powder, and their mixture to the diets of Lohmann White laying hens, and to study their effects on productive performance, egg quality characteristics, selected blood biochemical parameters, and antioxidant status.

The study concluded that adding caper fruit powder, wild chicory powder, and their mixture to the diets of laying hens resulted in significant improvements in the traits evaluated.
