Master’s Thesis at the University of Kirkuk Examines the Effect of Selection for Egg Mass Trait in Japanese Quail

A master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, discussed the effect of selection for egg mass trait on productive, physiological, fertility, and hatchability traits in Japanese white quail.

The study, presented by Shahad Ali Rashid, aimed to investigate the process of selecting for egg mass and its impact on productive traits, physiological characteristics, qualitative egg traits, as well as fertility and hatchability in Japanese white quail.

The study concluded that selection for egg mass trait had a significant effect on the studied traits.
