The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine held a panel discussion on melanin cells as a natural factory for sunscreen in humans, with the participation of a number of faculty members. The panel included a lecture by Prof. Dr. Zekra Abdel-Wahhab Mustafa, in which she touched on melanin cells, which are considered as natural cells present in humans and that manufacture dye Melanin, which is responsible for giving color to human skin, hair and eyes, as well as a means of protecting the skin from ultraviolet radiation (UV rays).
