The College of Law and Political Science discussed a master’s thesis in public law tagged with: The Legal Center of the Public Employee with Disabilities and Special Needs / a comparative study by the student: Somaya Daoud Suleiman, and the supervision of a. M. Dr.. Kanaan Muhammad Mahmoud. The study aimed at defining employees with disabilities and special needs and clarifying their needs and rights, as well as clarifying the most important disciplinary laws that include them and taking into account their circumstances that differ from the regular employee. Rather, it was content with defining the public employee in general, and that the disability is of many types and has many and varied causes, and the Iraqi legislation was accommodating most of the standards referred to by international documents. Private, given that it is a term that covers all groups, as well as a call for the need to raise the ceiling of social support established in the Social Protection Law.
