A master's thesis at the College of Education for Human Sciences discussed the impact of electronic governance in treating the state's general budget deficit, a study in the light of Islamic economics, by Kawthar Hassan Yousef, under the supervision of Dr. Kamel Abdel Qader Hussein.The study aimed to demonstrate the impact of e-governance in treating the deficit in the state’s general budget represented by increasing public expenditures over its public revenues, and how to treat it by finding new economic development models represented by Islamic financial engineering and Islamic instruments of various kinds, and the role of privatization in this through the use of information technology.
